Frazer Clarke focuses on rematch with Wardley while staying opened to other opportunities

Frazer Clarke, an undefeated heavyweight boxer, plans a trip to Saudi Arabia but maintains that a rematch with Fabio Wardley is his main focus. This decision follows their draw at the British and Commonwealth heavyweight title fight in March at the O2 Arena, London. Clarke emphasizes the importance of a definitive match for both the fighters and their fans.

Clarke, who holds a record of 8-0-1 with six knockouts, recently confirmed his plans to travel next week to discuss potential boxing opportunities in Saudi Arabia. Despite these talks, he reiterated his commitment to facing Wardley again. "We owe it to the British fight fans and to ourselves to get a winner," Clarke stated. He reflected on their previous encounter as a thrilling spectacle and one of the year's best fights.

Ben Shalom, the promoter handling both fighters, has prioritized organizing the rematch, recognizing its appeal and unfinished business. Simultaneously, Clarke shared through his column in Metro that while he is keen on the rematch with Wardley, who boasts a formidable record of 17-0-1 with 16 knockouts, he must also consider other discussions currently underway. "I would love the rematch, but other discussions are going on too," he mentioned.
