Walters: 'If Kambososos does what he's been taught, he'll beat Lomachenko'

Former world champion Nicholas Walters weighed the chances of George Cambososos in the upcoming fight with Vasyl Lomachenko, which will be held on May 12 in Perth, Australia. At stake in the meeting will be the vacant IBF lightweight division title.

"Lomachenko is a special fighter. But Cambosos is special too - look at what he did to Teofimo Lopez. I've seen him in the gym, he's quick on his feet, looks good and confident. If he's as confident and fast, he should have the advantage. If he can use his power and keep Lomachenko at a distance, then he can win.

It only takes one punch in boxing - it can change everything. George just has to listen to his corner and do what he needs to do, not what Lomachenko wants him to do. If he does what he's been taught - he will win," Boxing Scene quoted Walters as saying.
