Volkanovski has given a timeline for his return to the octagon

Former UFC featherweight champion Aleksander Volkanovski said his next appearance could be at UFC 305, scheduled for Aug. 17 in Perth, Australia.

"I've been in contact with the UFC and made it clear that I want to fight later this year. Right now I want to give myself a little bit of a break. I'm thinking about UFC 305, but it might be a little later," Bloody Elbow quoted Wolkanowski as saying.

Recall that in his last fight Volkanovski lost to Elijah Topuria by knockout in the second round and lost the title. The fight took place on February 17 at the UFC 298 show in Anaheim.
