Demetrious Johnson is looking to make his boxing debut

Former dominant UFC lightweight champion Demetrious Johnson has spoken about wanting to try his hand at professional boxing.

"I came home last night, turned on the Saul Alvarez fight and thought, 'Oh my God, that looks pretty damn cool.' The next day I did my workout, came home and told my wife I wanted to fight in boxing.

I'll be 38 this year. There comes a point in every athlete's career when you have to stop. When my body is ready for a heavy camp, I'd love to put the gloves on. But I need a good opponent - for example, Manny Pacquiao. I don't want to box another MMA fighter. I want to fight a legend of the sport," BJ Penn quoted "Mighty Mouse" as saying.
