Du Plessis backed Prochazka's desire to move down to middleweight

UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis commented on the statement of former titleholder Jiri Prochazka about moving to the category up to 83.9 kg.

Earlier, the Czech admitted that he might move down to middleweight after regaining the title.

"Prochazka is not such a big fighter. I think Jiri needs to go down to middleweight. I have nothing but love and respect for Jiri, no doubt about it. I just got to see him at the UFC Performance Institute, and I know what I'm talking about. He moves lighter than me," - quoted Du Plessis portal MMA Junkie.

Recall that on April 13 at UFC 300 Prochazka knocked out Aleksandar Rakic in the second round.
