Weidman has no plans to end his career after his fight with Silva

Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman has once again made it clear that he has no plans to retire from the sport just yet.

The American will fight Brazilian Bruno Silva on March 30 at the UFC on ESPN 54 show in Atlantic City, USA.

"I feel great, I'm doing really great. The weight cut is going great, my body feels amazing, better than it has in years, so let's see what I can do. I think I can surprise people.

And if I don't, then we'll see. Maybe I won't perform the way I expect, and then I'll rewrite the story. But at this point, I'm optimistic about the future," BJ Penn quoted Weidman as saying.
